The term “wall finish” is a bit of a catch-all phrase! You’ll see a wide variety of custom decorative finishes here. A custom wall finish can be plaster, ranging from a subtle, European-style fine finish plaster (usually in a pale color like white), to polished Venetian plasters that resemble marble, to metallic plasters for some extra pizzazz.

And then there are all the decorative techniques that used to be “faux finishing” . . . Antiquing glazes, metallic glazes, and decorative painting embellishments such as hand-painted scrollwork. Not to mention fine art murals painted directly on the wall, or painted on canvas and then installed like custom wallpaper!
